Oh, & he directed The Cell I guess.

I watched The Fall last night. It was directed by the director of R.E.M.'s Losing my Religion video. The best part of it, for me, was the 6-year old who plays the main character. She probably gets #2 on the top 5 realisitc kid portrayals list, if I had one. (#1 being Ponette.) I still don't know what Spike Jonze and David Fincher have to do with any of it, but their names are on the DVD cover.

Here are some pictures taken during the filming (also where the picture that I used on this post came from), which wikipedia says took 4 years. In the behind the scenes featurettes you see them leading an elephant into the ocean to get shots of it swimming. That's another good part--the movie is visually delicious and doesn't have much CGI (that I could tell).
