I love that this was not a mere retrospective of Green's work, but equally featured films that influence his work. I've been meaning to rewatch The Last Picture Show for a while, especially since Jason has never seen it.

I think most of the people who read this know that Jay and I were lucky enough to catch a sneak preview of Pineapple Express a week ago. Despite the fact that it was full of drug use and action/violence, we absolutely loved it. James Franco was fantastic but Danny McBride steals the show and David Gordon Green further solidifies his place in my heart!
