If anyone is interested, I'm going to go to the Oscar-nominated animated shorts program on Wednesday night at 7:45 at Regent Square. Beth, Megan and I went a few years ago and it was a good time! The set of stills here is from Peter and the Wolf. The films all look good and despite the fact that I did enjoy Ratatouille, I am so excited that there are no Pixar shorts in the competition! Interestingly, there are actually no U.S. animated shorts this year at all.

havent watch this movie yet. how is it?
Peter and the Wolf was wonderful, as were the rest of the shorts. I think I liked Peter and the Wolf the best because there was no dialogue and there was an adorable duck! I know those aren't usually good selling points but it was very engaging and enjoyable.
