Jason
Not me! This guy. He writes graphic novels, or, if you would rather, I can call them nariglyphic pictoral assemblages. That's what one guy calls them. I like all of his books and I am sure you would as well. There's a bunch. And they are all good. Some are hard to read and you might need your wife to help you. But it's worth it. One is about frankenstein and his bride. One is about kidnapping, which doesn't mean your kid gets napped, but held hostage. A hostage situation. And there's one based on a crime novel. Oh and Jason, not me, but Jason is Norwegian. He's great. But you don't have to take my word for it. Sherman Alexie said: "Jason's work is poetry. Beautiful and frightening. Redemptive and hopeless. He is the Kafka and Keats of the comic world." Kafka because he's a little weird. And Keats because its poetic. If he dealt with growing up they'd throw in JD Salinger, that sultenfuss. Jon Lovitz said, "Baby, it's neat. Ciao."
